Some of the footage shows handlers and their dogs at a typical PTA training day &#8211; a friendly informal gathering where club trainers, volunteers, and members (and non members) get together to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>train their dogs in a group environment using canvas dummies<\/li>\n<li>practice exercises using different scenarios<\/li>\n<li>tackle and discuss dog and handler problems<\/li>\n<li>learn new techniques<\/li>\n<li>pick up useful tips<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Members also compete in working tests and field trials to test their skills in a competitive environment that mimics situations experienced in the field.<\/p>\n<p>This archive will hopefully help to promote our sport and also encourage new members.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube: <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/M81SNNeE6WI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PTA Training Day<\/a>.
