The Pennine Training Area (PTA) is a gundog training club based in Lancashire. It’s aim – to\u00a0provide gundog training facilities and organise working tests – all within an informal\u00a0club environment.<\/p>\n

Run by the Committee (and members) for the members – the club is made up of likeminded people who enjoy training gundogs.<\/p>\n

We are proud to be associated with our sponsors, and grateful for their patronage. The PTA is part of the Northern Golden Retriever Association<\/a> (NGRA) which is itself responsible for\u00a0shows and field trials.<\/strong><\/p>\n

All retriever breeds are welcome to take part. Read more<\/a>. Please browse our site. It contains information about the club, the training programme, and the working tests that we organise throughout the year.<\/p>\n

Merchandise<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\"\"<\/a>The club now has a range of merchandise and a new logo.<\/p>\n

The clothing range includes fleeces, jackets, T shirts, bodywarmers, polo shirts, sports vests, DOG COATS, sweaters, caps, and beanies. All have embroidery options, and all come in lots of different sizes.<\/p>\n

Events information<\/strong><\/p>\n

You should also check event details using the PTA facebook group (of which you must be a member) or contact Karen Parkinson. This is particularly important for any last minute changes including those outside our control which might affect an event, it\u2019s timing, or even result in it\u2019s cancellation. Working tests should now preferably be entered using the FTMS although an entry form and cheque can still be sent to Karen (see\u00a0Events<\/a>\u00a0page for more info).<\/p>\n

Any PTA members, or non members taking part in PTA working tests, who require details of directions to venues (including the PDF version) please contact the club Secretary: karenparkinson.pta@outlook.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
